Easy Habits That Make Me Feel 10x More Confident ✨
Share
People are always asking me how I’m so confident. Like, how is she a business owner and influencer at 11 years old?! (I know, right?)
But here’s the truth: confidence isn’t something you’re born with — it’s something you learn. Just like learning how to ride a bike or play guitar, you get better with practice. And the best part? Anyone can do it. Yup, even you, bestie.
I’m all about showing tween and teen girls that you don’t have to wait until you’re older to love yourself or feel amazing in your own skin. Confidence isn’t about being perfect — it’s about showing up as YOU, no matter what.
So today I’m sharing some of my fave little habits that make me feel like my most confident, main-character self 💅
-
Wear a bright colour
This one is SO easy but so powerful. I basically live in pink, but whenever I’ve got something big coming up or I’m just having an off day, I reach for my brightest pink hoodie or scrunchie and it instantly boosts my mood. Bright colours = happy vibes & instant confidence.

Find your signature scent
Nothing makes me feel more *put together* than smelling amazing. I have a go-to scent that instantly gives me That Girl energy every time I roll it on.
If you don’t have a signature scent yet, try a World of LLA perfume roller — they’re made with natural essential oils and come in the cutest little bottles.

Practice self-care like it’s your job
Let me tell you a secret… I haven’t always felt confident. I used to get bullied when I was younger, and it really affected how I saw myself. That’s when my mom and I started doing self-care nights — featuring face masks, candles, cozy drinks, and Friends reruns. Over time, I realized that taking care of myself helped me feel better… and when I felt better, I showed up with way more confidence.
Self-care isn’t about looking perfect. It’s about feeling strong, happy, and like YOU again. 💖

Unfollow accounts that make you feel meh
If scrolling Instagram or TikTok is giving you imposter syndrome and draining your confidence, it’s time for a feed refresh. You don’t have to follow anyone who makes you feel small. Follow creators who inspire you, make you laugh, and remind you how amazing you already are. (Make sure you’re following me @lilyraeharper!!!!)

Move your body
I’m still figuring out what kind of exercise I love (spoiler: it’s not running 😅), but I do know that moving my body helps me feel so much more confident. Whether it’s a dance party in my room, a quick walk, or even just stretching in my PJs, it always boosts my mood and energy.
You don’t need a full workout routine to feel strong — just find something fun and start small!
You don’t have to change who you are to feel confident. Just start with one tiny habit that makes you feel more like yourself — the real, radiant, unstoppable YOU. 💫
And remember: confidence isn’t about having it all figured out. It’s about showing up anyway.
You've got this, bestie 💖
