How to Actually Live Your Dream Life
Share
If you follow me on Insta, then you know I’m in my ~manifesting~ era. I’m visualizing my dream life and growing into the best version of ME!
Today, I wanted to share how I’m going from manifesting to actually LIVING my dream life– and how you can too! 💭💖
One of my favourite tools for personal growth (and business glow-ups) is journaling. It’s helped me work through some really heavy things—like being bullied when I was younger—and it’s been a safe space for me to reflect, heal, and dream. Writing in my journal helps me connect with myself, understand my goals, and get crystal clear on what I really want.
So let’s talk about one of my absolute fave journal exercises that’s helped me level up: visualizing your perfect day. ✨
Here’s how it works.
First, set the mood. Light a candle, play some calming music, and tidy up your space so you’re not distracted. (My ADHD girlies know the struggle—visual clutter = brain clutter!)
Then, grab your journal and write out your dream day from start to finish.
- What time do you wake up?
- What does your morning routine look like?
- What’s your vibe—slow and mindful or high-energy and productive?
- What habits make you feel like the best version of yourself?
Maybe your dream morning starts with a gratitude meditation and a fancy matcha. Maybe it includes a hot girl walk or a skincare routine that makes you feel like THAT girl.
Now think about your environment. What does your room look like? What kind of clothes are in your closet? What are you eating for breakfast, lunch, and dinner—and how does that food make you feel?
Then visualize how you’re spending your day. Are you working on a creative project? Yapping with your besties? Reading in the sun? Crushing goals with your dream business? Whether your perfect day is chill, productive, or a mix of both—get super specific and let yourself feel it.
Once you’ve done the dreaming, it’s time for the DOING. You’re gonna pick ONE thing from your dream day and start doing it this week. Just one.
- Maybe it’s waking up 15 minutes earlier for a slower morning.
- Maybe it’s putting together an outfit that makes you feel confident and cute.
- Maybe it’s spending more time outside or texting your bestie instead of doom-scrolling.
The goal isn’t to suddenly have your dream life overnight—it’s to start living like the version of you who already does. When you incorporate even one small part of your dream day, you’re telling your brain, “This is who I am now.” And trust me, when you do it consistently? It sticks.
After 7 days, that one dreamy habit will feel less like a stretch and more like a standard. And from there? You just keep going.
Living your dream life isn’t about waiting for everything to magically fall into place—it’s about taking tiny, intentional steps toward the person you’re becoming. One journal entry, one affirmation, one step at a time.
You’ve got this, bestie. Your dream life is already yours—now go LIVE IT💫
